Lane 61

Aichi Triennale, Nagoya, Japan, 2013

Lane 61 comprised of a bowling alley being fired on a track, thro a perimeter wall and out over a car park, complete with 10 pins and a bowling ball. The lane exited and returned continuously throughout the hours of daylight with viewers both in the street and in the interior space. It was a metaphor for the Japanese people who had been knocked down but stood back up after the catastrophy in the N.E Area of the country.
